The boss of "Bridgerton" Season 3 discusses why Polin came at the right time and what's coming in Part 2.

Fans of both the novel and the program will be gripping the last seconds of Part 1 release, eager to see what happens in Part 2, as Bridgerton's third season has become increasingly popular.

The famous carriage scene from Julia Quinn's novel Romancing Mr. Bridgerton, which is the basis for this season, features Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) in a steamy makeout scene that ends after four episodes (and two seasons) of romantic buildup.

It takes them a little while to decide what to do when the carriage suddenly arrives at the Bridgerton family home. Colin gets out of the carriage and offers Penelope a hand. He asks, "Are you coming with me?" How come? I'll be seen by your family," she replies. God, Penelope Featherington, please. He asks, "Are you going to marry me or not?" just before the show ends.

Although the last scenes give the impression that these two are going to have a happily ever after, it probably won't be simple for them to do so given Penelope's great secret—that she is Lady Whistledown, the spoken by Julie Andrews anonymous town gossip. When Eloise (Claudia Jessie), Pen's longtime closest friend, found out that she was the notorious gossip columnist at the end of the second season, the two friends had a major falling out. Polin's plan will involve their strained relationships as well as the close sibling bond between Eloise and Colin.

According to Bridgerton season three showrunner Jess Brownell, "it certainly gets harder to keep a secret as soon as one person knows, and now Eloise knows," The Hollywood Reporter is informed. "In my opinion, Penelope has a part of her that wants Colin to understand her completely as she moves toward becoming more transparent. Furthermore, I believe she is aware that he will never truly see her until he discovers she is Whistledown.

Below, Brownell discusses a variety of topics, including if she plans to continue taking the series in a different sequence than the books, what material she decided to cover in the split season, and how Eloise will factor into Colin and Penelope's relationship.
