Johnny Walker, the great comedian in Indian film industry, He is the man of ticklers in hearts of audience, emperors of laughter.  Johnny Walker was interested in becoming an actor since his childhood. But Johnnie Walker's catchphrases made him famous in film circles. Let’s read more on ups and downs of Johnny Walker's life.

Badruddin Jamaluddin Qazi was born in Madhya Pradesh, India, on November 11, 1920 in a middle-class Muslim family. His family moved to Mumbai for work.  Or take it this way, I think Mumbai missed his Rising Star. On recommendation of his father's police inspector friend, Badruddin got a job as a bus conductor. He was very happy with this job as he got a chance to travel all over Mumbai for free. Johnny's style of bus conducting was also very interesting.  He used to sing in his special style, "Amma uterny wale passengers redi ho jao ladies log Pehly". At the same time, he met the famous villan of the film world NA Ansari and Rafiq, the secretary of K Asif. After about seven or eight months of struggle, Johnny Walker got a chance in movie "Aakhri Pemany". In this film, he got 80 Rs salary. That time Qazi earns 26 Rs as a bus conductor, for a whole month.

One day, Johnny Walker met Balraj Sahni, a famous actor of his time, who was traveling in his bus.  He was quite impressed by Johnny Walker's cheerfulness and interesting manner and suggested him to meet Garudat. Who was making the movie 'Baazi' those days.  Gurdut was pleased with Johnny Walker's talent and offered him an opportunity to work in his film. Film Bazi, released in the year 1951, made the life of Badruddin Jamaluddin Qazi in his favor.

After that, Badruddin acted in several films of Garudat. Mr. and Mrs. 55and Piyasa, also Super hit films like Chudhwi Ka Chand and Khaghz Ke Phool are included. Johnny Walker's character in the movie Taxi Driver, made under the banner of Nokitan, was called Mastana. Many friends advised him to keep his movie name as Mastana, but Johnny Walker did not like this name. Later Badruddin Jamaluddin Qazi was named Johnny Walker after the famous 'Johnny Walker' liquor of that time.

Apart from Gurdutt's films, Taxi Driver, Devdas, Naya Andaz, Chori Chori, Madhumati and Mere Mehboob are best movies of Walker. Johnny charmed hearts of the audience with his comic acting. The song 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil Jina Yahan' was filmed on him in CID, Zara hat ke zara bach ke Yeh hai Mumbai Meri Jaan' had blown up.  After that, a song was filmed on him in every film.

Johnny Walker was also awarded the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor for the 1958’s film Madhumati. In addition, he was awarded the Filmfare Award for Best Comedy Actor for the film Shikar released in 1968.  The death of renowned actor and director Guru Dutt left Bijuni alone. It was very difficult for Jonny to manage himself when this was broken. Meanwhile, in the seventies, Jonny Walker reduced his work in films. Because he thought that the level of comedy in the film has gone down a lot

Johnny Walker was married to Noor Jahan, the sister of Shakila, a well-known actress of her time. In 1986, to launch his son in the film industry, he made the film "Pahenche Hoe Log", which he himself directed and produced by Johnny Walker. But the film failed miserably at the box office. Meanwhile, he received offers to act in several films, but Walker refused to act. Johnny's career spans nearly five decades. He acted in more than 300 films in his long film career. This great comedian, who mesmerized people with his unique style, said goodbye to the world and fans on 29 July 2003.
