Nayera Noor started her career in 70s and continued to sing songs and ghazals as well as palyback singing for films and OSTs for dramas.

Nayyara Noor was born in Assam (India) on November 3rd, 1950, Nayyara spent her childhood in Assam, at the age of 7, her family migrated and Nayyara came to Pakistan. When Nayyara went to Pakistan, the process of education started again. During her student days, Nayyara Noor sing her songs among her friends and family. Once he got an opportunity to sing at a youth festival held in Lahore. After that, Nayyara Noor was awarded a gold medal for singing at Lahore Open Air. With this encouragement, she also became recognized as a singer.

For the first time Nayyara Noor got an opportunity to sing regularly on Radio Pakistan. In 1968, this voice on-air at radio, She started her singing on Pakistan Television in 1971, and then it continued. He became a part of many music programs. He also sang the best songs for films and won the Nigar Award.

Nayyara Noor sang the words of selected poets. Nayyara inspired Faiz Ahmad Faiz's poetry.
