The strategic partnership allows Air Karachi to utilize PIA’s state of the art Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facilities with the largest and most advanced in Pakistan, ensuring world class safety and reliability for its future fleet.

Air Karachi Chairman Mr. Hanif Gohar said this agreement symbol a historic moment not only for the airline but also for people of Karachi. “This airline represents every citizen of Karachi. By naming it Air Karachi, we desired to give the city and its people a sense of pride and ownership as their very own airline prepares to take flight in Pakistan’s skies and beyond,” Gohar said.

Gohar also shared his views on federal budget, mainly its impact on the real estate & construction sectors. While welcoming the reduction in withholding tax for developers, he spoken concerns about stricter tax regulations for non-filers. According to him, these measures may depress new investors and potential buyers, affect growth in Pakistan’s construction industry.

With the signing of this MOU, Air Karachi is now closer than ever to launching operations. The airline promises to raise Karachi’s name in the aviation industry by offering safe, reliable, and high-quality air travel services while firming the city’s position as a key player in Pakistan’s aviation sector.
