Ustad Rashid Khan, the well-known classical musician from India, died at the age of 55 following a protracted illness.
Sad News from Bollywood: as per Indian media source, Ustad Rashid Khan passed away in a Kolkata hospital following a protracted fight with cancer.
Media reports state that Rashid Khan was diagnosed with cancer after being brought to a private hospital on November 22, 2018, for brain anemia.
After his condition deteriorated during the course of the treatment, the physicians suggested ventilator for him, and nearly a month later on January 9 Ustad Rashid Khan (RIP) passed away.
Pakistani musicians Ali Sethi and Farhan Saeed shared sorrow to passing of vocalist Rashid Khan on on Instagram.
