Thirty-one years ago, Lollywood's best actress, Nayyar Sultanah, said goodbye to her fans.

Tayyaba came from Aligarh (Uttar Pradesh, India) to Karachi and became known as Nazli in Lahore (Lollywood). She got a title Queen of Emotions. Nayyar Sultana has no substitute in Pakistan film industry. In the 50s and 60s, there was no better supporting actress than Nayyar Sultana. The successful films were Saat Lakh, Sahili, Ghunghat, Amrao Jaan Ada, Chitra Te Shera, Vada Khan and Behesht.

Nayyar Sultanah was born in 1937 in a Muslim family in Ali Ghar, British India. Her parents suggest named Tayyaba Banu. Tayyaba’s enrolled in Ali Garh (Uttar Pradesh, India) Women's College. This was the time when people in India were fervently fighting for independence. During these times, Pakistan declared its independence, and Taiba Banu's family migrated to Karachi, Pakistan.

She got to know Pakistani film director Anwar Kamal Pasha while she was in Lahore. Anwar Kamal Pasha was greatly influenced by Nayyar's interest in, command of, and knowledge of Urdu literature as well as her conversational style. The film "Intikhab" gave Taiba Banu a new name, Nayyar Sultanah, and the film "Saat Lakh" catapulted her to stardom.

First Lollywood's super star Santosh Kumar, was Nayyars's elder brother. Her other brother, Aslam Suleman, was film Director. Nayyar Sultana married a Pakistani famous romantic film actor, Darpan. Nayyar Sultanas’s memorable films including "Saat Lakh," "Saheli," "Ghonghat," "Amrao Jan Ada," "Chatra," "Shaira," "Wada Khan," and many others.

Nayyar Sultana’s proficiency in the Urdu language and exceptional acting skills recognition her in literary circles of Pakistan. Even though she achieved recognition in Pakistani Punjabi films as well, her name in Urdu films became renowned.

Nayyar Sultanah was awarded as Best Supporting Actress in film "Saat Lakh" in 1957, "Saheli" in 1960, "Aulad" in 1962, and "Bahisht" in 1974.

October 27, 1992 is very sad day, Nayyar Sultana passed away due to cancer at Agha Khan Hospital in Karachi, Pakistan. After the Queen of Emotions, several actresses entered the field of supporting acting and gained popularity, but the title of the Queen of Emotions remained exclusive to her in her time.
