Modernizing Women's Sports in Pakistan: Empower Sports Academy's Significant Tournament
In a revolutionary initiative, Empower Sports Academy, in association with Essa Laboratories and Dove, magnificently presented the First National Women's Volleyball Tournament at National Coaching Centre, Karachi.

The grand finale of tournament was attended by valued guests, with Sindh Chief Secretary Asif Hyder Shah, Dr. Farhan Essa (CEO of Essa Laboratories & Diagnostic Centre), Sultana Siddiqui (President Hum Network), various other notable personalities. The evening included three exciting final matches across different groups, followed by a friendly match among players and celebrities, which charmed the audience.

Empower Sports Academy's vision is to boost female athletes to international platforms, including world championships and Olympics. The academy struggles to deliver opportunities for fineness in sports, overcome barriers, and endorse equal opportunities for all.
Event Highlights
- Over 60 women's volleyball teams contributed in competition, with more than 600 contributors from Karachi, Islamabad, and Faisalabad city.
- The matches were held on seven specially promoted Taraflex courts at National Coaching Centre, Karachi.
- State of art scoring system by Sports Ranch ensured fair and transparent scoring in tournament.
- The winning teams received gold medals and cash prize of PKR 500,000, with trophies.
