King Group of Karachi, now title sponsor of Karachi Premier League

As the new title sponsor of the Karachi Premier League (KPL), the well-known Karachi builders King Group has significantly expanded Pakistan's cricket landscape. Cricket stars and prominent media attended the signing ceremony to kick off this important collaboration.

Mr. Mueez bin Zahid, chairman of Karachi Premier League (KPL), contributed in the solemn event. Hasan Raza, the tournament director; Hira Soomro, the managing director; and Fawad Munir, the general secretary. Dr. Talha was unable to attend due to sickness, but Thanvi brothers and King's Group CEO Mueez Zaidi were present on behalf of the company.


The KPL and King Group collaboration aims to raise the league's visibility and give up-and-coming talent from all around Pakistan a stage. In an optimistic statement, KPL Chairman Mueez Bin Zahid said, "This partnership will give KPL more priority and help uncover hidden gems from Karachi and beyond."



The league gains legitimacy and experience with the involvement of cricket legends Younis Khan, a past champion captain, and Hasan Raza, a record-holding Test cricketer and tournament director. Bringing well-known players to their clubs has also been greatly aided by franchise owners.


Hira Soomro, the managing director, assured that the KPL would keep up its efforts to promote cricket and uncover latent talent in the city. This association is a confident step to KPL's goal.
